Dad Sews A Twirly Elastic Butterfly Halloween Costume
by on September 19, 2017 in

Today on DadSews, we begin one of many Halloween themed episodes as Christian Lee sews an elastic butterfly belt. This is an alternative to the skirt version seen here: http://www.504main.com/2012/10/the-mo…

I thought the ‘no-sew’ project looked more daunting than the alternative, with the fabric paint, and iron-on interfacing. Plus… this is DadSEWS! This is a very simple project that beginners can do, you just need to get a feel for pulling the elastic as you sew. Elastic is MEANT to stretch, but your fabric may not, so you need to give a little tug as you run it through your machine.

Watch Christian to learn the simple steps on how to sew with elastic. You can get the same JUKI machine I use for a LOW-LOW price, by visiting Fabric Hut with my special code DS1: http://FabricHut.com

Experience the best selection of fabric, support by top notch customer service. If you want to work with the best Family Operated business in the game, Fabric Hut is your answer!
